dougdrake
I am curious what methods folks use to clean the brass faceplates often found on vintage tube gear, like Scott, Fisher, etc... so as not to ruin the silkscreened lettering. My Fisher 101 faceplate looks good (i.e. not blemished or spotty), but based on the chassis dirt present on the unit when I got it I doubt the faceplate has ever been cleaned, so I expect it should look brighter. Thanks for any input! Doug
