johnny_tv Posted December 11, 2005 Share Posted December 11, 2005 Hi, I have read many times that the KG 5.5 speakers are the best match for the KV3 Center Channel. I can only find them on ebay (I understand they were discontinued in 1997). Is there any modern equivalent that I should get instead? They are just easier to find. Or should I just wait until I get the KG 5.5 speakers from somewhere? I'm not sure that I like their bulky quality, but that may just be the nature of what I need, modern or older. Thanks! ironwoods Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Hi, you've come so close to painting yourself into a corner, that I can just smell the turpentine . I run a KV-3 with the Heresy, and think it fits in pretty well. However, I wouldn't confine my choice of mains, according to the center. I'd choose the mains 1st, then hunt for an appropriate center.
