Blazemaster
Like the title states, I have a pair of RF82 for sale in black. I'm sure most know that the RF82 is one of the floorstanders of the new Reference series, so no doubt about how old they are. Most dealers don't even have them in stock yet, I was fortunate enough to be able to get a pair from the first batch. I'm pondering the idea of getting a pair of RF63 to match my RC64, so here's the "feeler" sale. The 82s are like new, barely broken in. They look and function like brand new speakers. Asking price of $900, let me know if you have any questions. Prefer local pick-up in the 91748 area. I have lots of positive feedbacks from Audiogon and Videogon under the same user name. Bill H.
What if anything, do you like/or not like about the RF82's? Seems as if it is too soon to be selling them already........ Blazemaster
there is not much that I didn't like about the Klipsch sound. I switched recently from B&W to Klipsch, but something is driving me to get the matching RF63 to match the RC64.
Buckeye_Nut
If people can buy them new for $800, why would they buy a used pair from you for $900?? I only paid $780 for mine!! Are you trying to rip people off? Are you selling stolen goods, and you dont even know the proper selling price for them?
Blazemaster
Are you serious? What is the MSRP for them? My dealer told me that they go for $460 each brand new? Can someone tell me what is the MSRP for the 82s? If my dealer ripped me off, then I'm going to ask for money back and trade up for the 63s that way. Oh yea...I'm trying to rip someone off with Klipsch speakers in the Klipsch forum. I maybe misinformed, but not stupid.
mmiles
$998.00 MSRP pair.
Buckeye_Nut
My apologies.... I was posting after a night of movies and drinking again, and I went overboard with my response. While the suggested retail at around $999/pr, the selling price is around $800/pr for a new pair.
Blazemaster
it's ok buckeye_nut...not much offense taken. It's just a "feeler" sale, not a life or death situation. I guess I'll just hold on to it for couple years and upgrade to something else later.
Jay481985
I saw the rf82 at the dealership and their not bad at all
Blazemaster
I know it's not bad, but you know how these things go. It's just something inside me that's driving me crazy knowing that the RF63 or 83 could be better at 2 channel, even if the difference isn't worth twice the cost.
