MrMcGoo
The quality of the reproduction on these movies is uniformly excellent. Only Apollo and Serenity are worth watching however. Doom suffers from too many scenes shot in the dark, but then again the plot was a shot in the dark that missed the mark. Serenity shows off the potential of the medium the best with an acceptable sifi story. The audio on Serenity is top notch with great dynamics, unlike the Warner HD releases. The story in Appolo 13 is by far the best of the three most recent Universal releases, but shows its age in the picture quality. I highly recommend the quality of the Universal releases from a technical point of view. They set a new standard in movie reproduction technology. You are even allowed to fast forward through the the warning against piracy and the blue PG etc. screen. I believe that Dreamworks has been sold to Universal. Their library should be an excellent addition to HD DVD as time goes by. Bill
