ttrhp Posted May 8, 2006 Share Posted May 8, 2006 Attention houstonian. all of a sudden my welborne laurel making some kind of staticky noise and it sound like a tube going bad,so I swap tubes and still doing the same.not sure if it is the Cap/resistor or other part.so if any one in houston please let me know if there is a tech around here that can help me fix this problem or if there is any member around the houston area want to give it a shot I am more then happy to pay for the service..thanks. Did you try a new tube or swap with each channel?You might try cleaning the sockets or retensioning if possible.Did you swap all the tubes from channel to channel?How old are the amps?
