**Help** KSW10 doesn't hold signal from receiver

Hi all...New to the forum

AV yamaha rx-v757 7.1 - Sub ksw10

The only way I can get my sub to play is to use the auto setup feature of subwoofer. It sets my mains to large, sub to swfr, xover 40hz. I like the low in and 2-channel, so I set the sub to both from swfr and xvr to 60HZ. Things run very nicely with this setup (autosetup is not bad at all :) ).....Problem comes after I shut the system down for awhile and on 1 or two occasions acuatually stopped running while system was on. The only way to get the sub to re-engage is to run the autosetp feature again.

I am useing the rec subout with Y cable to the sub. Set to "on" all of the time. (However, I do have the sub power down when I shut down the system. This happens because I have it plugged into power filter that shuts it down along with other components.

I have tried setting speakers to small (polk lsi9) sound much better large. Tried disconnecting the sub and resetting the receiver, no luck.

I'm really getting desparate here.....

Anymore ideas?[*-)]
