kenratboy
...I picked this CD up a month ago and have really enjoyed it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00007FKQK/qid=1150090558/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/102-9842481-4820904?s=classical&v=glance&n=5174 The first few tracks (1-4) are not the best, but still good, but what comes after that is a lot more interesting - while it was written in the beginning of the 20th century, it sounds almost like a movie soundtrack in some parts. The other thing is I played it thru some Vienna Acoustics speakers and it sounded absolutly awesome (great quality recording). I heard part of it on NPR and it took me a few weeks to find it (the listing on NPR's site has nothing to do with finding the CD - finally had a classical music expert on a forum look at the info from NPR and point me to the CD!) Jay481985
I heard Vienna Acoustics was great for classical music, which model did you listen to? I remember even one that was made to vibrate more like a violin or musical instrument to get the classical feel.
kenratboy
The stuff in their new Grand Series - I would blow the poor guys, even the big ones, in 10 seconds with some of the stuff I listen to, but for 'light' stuff, they do fine.
