TIbor Posted July 24, 2006 Share Posted July 24, 2006 I have a apc smart ups lying around. Everyone says you should use them with audio-video equip due to the type of sine waves they put out. To me I dont see the difference but I am not qualified to really to say one way or the other. If I have the smart ups into the electical outlet and conect my monster powerbar 1100 to the smart ups is that better than just using the powerbar? Guest " " Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Depends on the rating of the UPS. Assuming it is big enough, the ups goes to the outlet, and your power bar to your UPS. TIbor Posted July 25, 2006 Author Share Posted July 25, 2006 Why would I connect a laser printer to it? I was going to use the ups souly for the ht. I was going to use the smaller of the smart ups. Single battery type. The larger one I have is dead and requires two new battereis.
