colterphoto1
YEOCH- those are Purdy!!!! If you check the cabinet back, you will either find a staple still embedded or two tiny holes where it was pulled out. In nearly all cases (someone surely has a different experience), Klipsch stapled a bag containing owners manual, warranty card, and the logo plaque. I guess it was assumed that the user would place it where he best saw fit. This was of importance in the case of Vertical Cornwalls which could be oriented either direction per BEC's rear label photo (incidentelly, my orange arrows are painted on directly on my 63's). So it's your choice. I think with the pie slices, that most users choose a mirror image, but you might take a poll. M
colterphoto1
Oh, and I found my Watco at Lowes in the section with stains, not the section with the other Formby refinishing products. It is a rectangular pint can with red label. M
SamS
Thanks Michael. Yeah, I can see the staples. I got some replicas from Tom Mobley, but I thought they just didn't look "right" after I painted them in gold leaf. So, I splurged and got some genuine ones via ebay. Yes, I found my Watco too at Lowes. That stuff works great! Shiny, but not too shiny. Doesn't really do anything for nicks or scratches, but the wood looks great.
