SPW Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Years ago I owned a Hafler dh 220 and a hafler 101 preamp. I had it pushing the Heresy's and it did a fine job. I have a couple of RB 5's for the bed room and after missing a nice MAC 1900 auction on the Bay I am wondering if anyone can give me feedback on a Hafler Iris system, or perhaps a Hafler 945 and a DH 220. If I go back into the world of newer musical stereo receivers I would imagine NAD would be recommended. Any recommendations in the used $300-400 range for receivers?
