It is a fantastic system for both movies/video and pretty good with music. The subwoofer is huge with built-in amp, and can fill nearly any room with the dynamic bass that movies demand. It just might be the bargin that someone just getting started needs. Shipping will be a bit tricky unless you live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
