I just wondering about I download some Bass test music and play to test my 4.1 sub and it very deep bass...But the song say Illegal bass below 20 Hz. You think is will hurt my 4.1?. justin_tx_16 Posted November 15, 2001 Share Posted November 15, 2001 i have tried nearly all bass tests it seems on my v2.400's, 2.1's and 4.1's. never had a problem. but i also made sure that i was not killing them. if they start to sound like a camel who just ran a 10K, then i would stop. your BASH limiter should help to protec our speakers from overdoing themesleves, but best not to try it out and it fail.. LoL! if you want a bunch of the bass test, do a search for Bass 305 on Audio Galaxy, KaZaA or Morpheus.
