A review of ALK Networks. I was blown away.

I had seen ALK crossovers on several peoples profiles and I didnt know what it meant; today I know, it means perfection for Klipsch Cornwalls and Im sure similar results on all classic type Klipsch speakers.

I received the new crossovers at work, I took them out of the box a marveled at the pure artistry in engineering. The attention to detail was incredible. Little things like the caps, transformers and filters all were mounted face up where you read the specs and manufacturers names. The soldering was perfect, the board painted, the back protected with felt feet. All of these small details would be meaningless if the craftsmanship didnt translate into purer sound.

So what about the sound, in a phrase open, detailed and perfectly blended. Every objection in the sound of my Cornwalls were vanquished. First I only installed one speaker network so I could compare the difference. It was startling. I wanted my brother to come hear the difference so I was going to leave the one speaker setup for show. My resolve lasted about twenty minutes then I couldnt stand it any longer and installed the second network. The harshness in the highs, the over presents of upper mids and the soft control of the bass were all handled with ease after installing the ALK crossover.

If you own a pair of Klipschorns, La Scalas, Cornwalls or Heresys you owe it to your self to hear the full potential that they can beautifully deliver. Thank Al K. for a great product.
