Paul 55
The 9-pin Din connector has broken off the subwoofer. There's no damage to the sub, I have found a 9-Pin din plug to re-solder the cable onto. My question is I need the Pin configuration in order to re-solder the cable onto the plug. Thanks
Andy W
This is for the ProMedia 5.1. The connector is the same so it should work here, just the names have changed. (The two cable both come from the same supplier, the only difference is the 5.1 has a black jacket and the iFi has a gray jacket.) NOTE: this is looking into the jack on the back of the sub. If you look into the plug it will be a mirror image. BUT this is actually beneficial, since when you are soldering the wires on the back of the plug, they will be just like the picture, if that makes sense. NOTE: the two grounds don't list colors but are the two drain wires. There are two separate cables inside, you'll see what I mean. Don't swap them. The drain wire from the audio cable must go to the audio ground.
