Most of the P-Audio 44.4mm replacement diaphragms are titanium with Kapton formers. They're OK for PA, but don't sound the best for Hi-Fi. Alnico magnets don't lose much midrange when they lose their charge, they lose high end above 8Khz big time. 902 vs 806, about 1.5dB difference midband (a loading cap makes more of a difference), and about 1/3 oct more HF extension.
