so i lost the rear portion of my 4.1's a while ago(thanks to the amplifier) and am

now left with 2 speakers and nothing to do with them, i was wondering if i

could use them as my surrounds in my home theater while i look for upgrades. i

have a Yamaha RX-V2500(130 W per channel). Do you think these speakers could

handle some mild use????

I have used them in my car actually when I was a teen. The problem is I do not know if they are 4 ohm or 8 ohm speakers. Most home audio tends to be 8 ohm stable unless otherwise noted. Just like I did in the vehicle setup, you would have to cut the ends off the speaker cable. These cables are custom as far as I know, but I haven't researched that so I maybe wrong. I am thinking of using some extra's from my ProMedia setup's in the past for center channel speakers myself. 3" mids with .75 inch tweeter = perfect.
