dalilama
I'm new to home theatre and I have bought a Pioneer VSX-516 receiver that puts out 100 watts per channel. I wanted to buy the Cinema 10 package due to it's size. Will a 100 watt receiver blow up the speakers in the Cinema 10 package?
homemadeheresy
If space is a big concern, the Cinema 10 would work quite nicely. Keep in mind that the amp puts out more power than the speaker ratings. That would mean that you would have to be responsible for not cranking to the maximum level of the amp. If space wasn't a concern I would check out the rf-10 system. I think with this set-up would offer a fuller sound, but the rating on these speakers are the same as the Cinema-10. As sensitive as these speakers are though I think you would lose you hearing before you fried them though.

BobbyT
Also keep in mind not enough power is more often responsible for blowing speakers than too much power.
