max_gator
I'm putting in the SCRs (in ceiling) but all the electronics are exposed. Do I need some kind of box/container to install the SCRs in? I'm afraid of dust/insulation getting in.
Gnomore
I don't think you are supposed to put anything behind them. They need the air volume in the wall/ceiling. I would imagine that they have been engineered so that dust won't be a problem since they have to be left open.
Guest BobG
SCR's are meant to operate in the environment above your ceiling and NOT to be enclosed. You'll note some protective mesh on the back side to keep big chunks off the woofer cone.
