P0LARlS Posted January 1, 2007 Share Posted January 1, 2007 I have the quintet II microsystem speaker set and a yamaha htr-5830 receiver also i just added a 12" mtx subwoofer, recently my two front speakers stopped playing or doing anything. How do I know where the problem is? Is it my speakers, receiver, or because i added subwoofer and how do I fix this? Thanks for any help. DrWho Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 What changed that made the speakers stop playing? Did you plug in the subwoofer and they stop playing right away? More details would help immensly. How did you hook up the mtx sub? Isn't MTX a car sub manufacturer? Do you have a seperate amp powering the sub? I would check the basic things - like making sure you didn't mute any speakers or accidently select the B speakers instead of the A speakers, etc...
