boa12
why 2? 1 should be fine. then get a 7.1 receiver & use the other for a rear center
MITCHT
I am only going to use a 5.1 receiver and have LaScalas for fronts and cornwalls for rears and I already have 2 heresy,s so I was wanting to wire them together but not sure how to do it and what the resistance would be with them in series or should i just paralell them?? BobG2
Using two center speakers will be Worse than using a single. At best, using a second center would raise the volume of that channel a few dB. you can do that with your volume control. when you use multiple speakers, their output interferes with each other, making very bad phase and frequency errors. Just like dropping two or more rocks in a pond at once causes the waves to crash into each other damaging the wave shapes. Bottom line: beyond any impedance considerations, there is nothing to be gained from using that extra Heresy.
