Lancaster
I have a GMXD-5.1 and needed to know the fuse size for it. It has "(~120V 60HZ 300 W MAX)" and the fuse is listed as a 2.5A . I have read about there being a 230 Volt version and just wanted to make sure it was a 120V and get the right fuse. What is the fuse description exactly~!!!! Thank you-JL
Bohemian_Rhapsody
Does it specify any fuse type on the back of the sub where you insert it ?
Lancaster
The fuse port says ("2.5 A") and the power input says ("~120V 60HZ 300 W MAX") Even though it says 120v I just wast to make sure...I could not read the fuse after pulling it. Lancaster
That is what I worry about. I know that there are two different voltages.....Does your female to male at the sub go square to oval and that's it???
Bohemian_Rhapsody
hmm, i m not sure if i understood what you said. Which connection are you taking about ? I cant see anything that goes from square to oval *-) A quick email to Amy will definately solve your problem. Lancaster
Welll, would it bake the sub if I bought a 120V 2.5A and replaced it if it was really a 230V 2.5 amp ????

Lancaster
Ohh man, I appologise. I was refering to the cord that comes from the wall to the sub..Before pluging the wallpower to the sub it is a two prong at the sub and the cord is actually a female that is shaped suare at the left side of the sub pluging into and oval to the right side when attempting to plug in power coming from the wall. Bohemian_Rhapsody
mine actually looks like this; http://eu.bosscom.dk/images/products/24052005115214T.jpg so I can plug it either way. However, there is a caution to check for proper polarity of the power cord in the manual, i guess it applies to the US version only. Here in Europe, I can connect the power cord either way and it works fine.
