StevenCS
I have the Quintet III sound system, and I'm wanting to add 2 more speakers since my receiver(Onkyo674) can do 7.1. So, how should I do it use the 2 speakers from the quintet's for surrback L and R, and just buy 2 sourround sound speakers? Any ideas I also have the synergy klipsch 10in sub with it. Thanks
fathered5
What you may want to do is put the Quintets in the back and sides and put the synergy slx in the front. I listened to them at the store once and they are very niceand at $700 for the pair you can't go wrong.
StevenCS
Yeah, those look nice. What store did you hear them at? I was thinking of using the F-2 up front and moving the quintet to the back
colterphoto1
agree with the last two posts. We do not sell the Quintet satelittes separately, and by the time you're wanting to go 7 channel, it's time for some bigger beasts up front. I suggest the F2 or B3, with the C3 center. Let those Quintets stay in service as surrounds for the time being. Welcome to the Madness! Michael
srphelps
I have two quintett III I'll sell make an offer
fathered5
I had seen the slx's at Hhgregg. They had the set up in a 5.1 configeration same woofer you have and 5 slx's. So when you want to get a new center you can put the slx in place. Do you have a flat panel? If you do these speakers mount on the wall or on stands. StevenCS
I have a sony 55" rear projection. I think i'm going with quintet in the back and f-2 for the front and c-2 for the center speaker. should work out good.
