tshow4437
Newbie here. What a great site though. I just resently started re-doing my Home theater room and I'm a little confused about my speakers. I have a Klipsch RC-52 center and 2 pairs of RS-42 for my rears. I'm powering them with a Yamaha RX-V2700. I just purchased the Klipsch RF-52's ,but In thinking I want to go larger. Here's where the confusion starts. Will the RF-62's or even the 82's sound OK with my present set-up or should I stick with the 52's. I'm also using a Velodyne SPL-1000 for my sub. Thank you very much for your help. Guest BobG
In addition to going deeper in the bass (which may not be important given your subwoofer) the 62s and 82s have quite a bit larger dynamic range. If the 52s ever sound like they are "giving out" at higher volumes, the bigger speakers will not.
