  1. I have tried many different crossover settings on my RF83's RC64 and RS62's I find the 80HZ(THX) to be the cleanest sounding of them all "but lacking a bit of base from the RF83's", and LFE set to the sub, I have also tried the mains at full-range and the RC64 and RS62's at 80Hz(THX), but the bass on these RF83's is just killer, l seem to lose some of the detail from the mids, all these settings where tried with the Audyssey equalizer on, have tried the manual settings " no Audyssey" but can't quite get it right. I am at the moment running the RF83'S at 60HZ and the center and surrounds at 80HZ(THX), which I think I have found the sweet spot for them. What settings are you guys using, if there are better settings out there just fill me in, I am all ears, by the way these baby's do sound sweet.
  2. Here is my humble setup[H] http://cybertec.smugmug.com/Electronics/PRO-151FD/10420375_kCzWn#722205069_X5xuB
  3. Nikon D200, I am a semi pro photographer "hobbyist" for many years now, pretty much know my equipment inside out.
  4. Got my RF83's and RC-64 from www.audiodistributors.com "authorized Klipsch reference dealer" , had the RS62's with my previous RF82's and RC-35, the difference was night and day from my previous RF82's and RC-35, the sound imaging and detail from the RF83's and RC-64 is breathtaking, and yes they have always been power by the setup stated above, I use a 5.1 theater system, so the extra two amp channels are used to bi-wire the RF83 towers, one two hundred watt amp for each towers mids and one two hundred watt amp for each towers tweeter, one two hundred watt amp for each of the surrounds and one two hundred watt amp for the center channel. Here is my setup, RS62 are not shown in picture, http://cybertec.smugmug.com/Electronics/PRO-151FD/10420375_kCzWn#722205069_X5xuB
  5. Check out my signature, I use the Outlaw 770 "older model", 7x200watts, which sounds fantastic with music and movies, great bang for the buck if you ask me and many others, the new model is the 7700, http://www.outlawaudio.com , also check out their B-stock page, my 770 was B-stock and has been working flawlessly for over two years now, you will save lots of $, they have a 7700 "7x200 watts" for $1879 and a 1750 "5x200 watts for $1479. Go check out some of the reviews, all positive, just google the model number, type Outlaw 7700 reviews in the google bar..
  6. I own the RF83 towers with the RC-64 center and RS-62 surounds, one word is WOW, it just sounds incredible for music and movies.
  7. So how do you go about removing the internal crossover.
  8. I don't know about you guys, but bi-wiring made a big difference, I have bi-wired my RF82's with my Outlaw 7x200 watt amp and Integra DTC 9.8 Pre Pro, and the mids get their own 200 watt amp and so do the highs on the front two RF82's, and the same will be done when my new RF83's come thru my door this comming Tuesday, can't wait[]. to hook up those babies.[8-|] , anyone interested in a pair of RF82's and RC-35 Center.
  9. The integra has better quality components than the Onkyo, and you can only purchase it from an authorized Integra dealer, no online sales on Integra units, matter of fact I should be receiving mine in about 3 to 4 weeks.
  10. RF82's all the way, I love mine.
  11. At the moment I have Dishnetwork, switched from Time Warner Cable after 15 years with them, it was the best thing I ever did for my HDTV, you can not beat Dishes HD lineup, and the picture is great, you can try them out for the first month, if you are not happy just cancel, I own the platinum package which includes all the HD channels and all the SD channels, it's thei top package, plus you get $10 off ech month for the first 10 month "promotional thing", I am more than happy, that's me.
  12. here is mine, http://cybertec.smugmug.com/gallery/2081524
  13. the sub is fantastic, the Outlaw and SVS with Klipsch make a great match, you can't go wrong, I am in sonic bliss, and I am sure you will be also.
  14. I own an Outlaw, and it is one fantastic Power Amp for the money, the sound is very clean and crisp with plenty of bang, check out my sig to see what it is powering.
  15. have you ever sat down and listened to a SVS PB2/+2 with music and movies, apparently you have not, please keep those smug comments to yourself next time, I did not say anything in my post about my sub beign the best in the world, I am sure there are many other better subs out there, but you have to pay an arm and a leg for them, for the money NOTHING comes close to SVS.
