funky speaker placement

Hey folks, I'm in need of some acoustical engineering expertise! I have this funky shaped livingroom here and what's worse, where the couch is (shown in blue) is literally the only place it'll fit. So where I have the monitor and fronts/center placed are about the only spot I can think of to promote harmony in the livingroom. Now where in the heck am I gonna put my RB/RS/LB/LS? I hate to create a little bitty corner of surround, but I've exhausted all of the options that i can think of here. Any opinons would be GREATLY appreciated.

i am assuming the angled part of the room is where the tv is.

looks like no matter what you won't get a "true" surround sound room. the only thing that may help is moving the couch a few inches...a foot if possible...and mount the speakers on the wall behind you. the same goes for the surrounds on either side.

is this an apartement? if it is...my best advice is....move when the lease is up! lol

it may suit your needs to run a 3.1 set up for now until either you change apartments/houses or you get different furinature.

sorry i can't be more of a help.
