Darknight
I would like to know if I can safely biamp RF-35 with the Trends Audio, T-amp or Super T-amp the "poor man's way". That is, using one amplifier for each speaker, without touching the passive crossover. This should result in a somewhat higher power output and handling of the speakers. I know that if the ground is in common between the two cable posts then the mentioned amps WILL die miserably, as they are already bridged. So, does anyone have this vital piece of information? TIA
whell
I don't see why it wouldn't work. In your scenario, each amp is fed the output of a single channel, and the amp's right / left channels respectively would be connected to the top / bottom sets of binding posts for each speaker? Sounds like a fun experiment. Post your results, as I'll be interested in the outcome.
pauln
Look in these threads for details: "trend audio 10.1a setup" and "vertical vs horizontal bi-amping"
