MITCHT
which speaker would be best for a center channel if I will be using LaScalas for fronts and heresys or cornwalls for rears in a surround configuration??
jdm56
Another La Scala of course, if you've got room. But if you're talkin' about an A/V rig and a La Scala won't fit, my second choice would be a heresy. And if that won't fit, a KLF-C7 would still be real good, if you can find one. Seems I read they were discontinued. Good luck.
Malcolm
I pretty much agree with James. Another LaScala of the same vintage is the best choice. If you use older LaScalas with the K-55-V, then I think Heresys with K-55-Vs (all but the latest Heresys) would be good, too. You will have very good timbre match. There will, of course, be a mismatch in sensitivity which you can address with your A/V receiver's settings. Timbre match will not be as good if you have K-55-Ms. KV-4 or Acadamey might be as good or better match than KLF-C7 if you can find one.
