leprechaun
I have what could be construed as a failry complete, somewhat dated reference series system. I am moving and no longer have the room for wall mounted rear/side surrounds. My question is - given what I have, can anyone point me to the roughly equivalent speakers in wall and ceiling mounted varieties? Additionally, can anyone recommend a good speaker control box (It seems I will need one of those also - to power outdoor speakers (also Klipsch and speakers in the Living Room). Thanks very much for your assistance! Patrick.

colterphoto1
for IN wall and in ceiling- look to the 5000 series, like CDT5650 for the ceiling. for inwall side surrounds there is a speaker that uses new horn technology (just got a PATENT on it) that is similar to the THX inwalls R5650 S is what you're looking for. Very cool design and really spreads out the sound field.

Roc Rinaldi
I have an Adcom speaker box that switches three sets of speakers and adjusts the resistance accordingly. It works fine if you want to consider buying one. It can handle up to 12 guage wire.
