Marathon Man
Just purchased 2 RSW-12's. I know that there is a break in period for all loudspeakers, but what about subs? since the driver in a powered sub that is not ported will move a great deal is there break in process that a sub should undergo? TheEAR
The RSW series needs a goo break in,like most subs. A) You can just use your sub from day to day and after about a month or two your sub should give optimum performance You can speed up the process, how.Easy just play some bass heavy(organ, synth)CD's and let keep the sub level on the heavy side. Two to three weeks and the sub is ready.
