ds53652
Hi, anybody know of good, quality stands that would be a good fit for the KL-650-THXs? Thanks, Roger
RichardP
Perhaps no one has responded because so few own these high dollar speakers. Three companies come to mind: www.racksandstands.com, www.standsandmounts.com, and www.wood-tech.com. With those three, you have literally dozens of options to choose from. I have dealt with the wood-tech people, a small company, and got lots of personal service. You could call them and discuss the speaker weight and dimensions, your preferred decor, and I am sure they would advise you. colterphoto1
I'm pretty sure these Sanus stands are what we have in our THX theater (the room you Pilgrims heard the Cornwalls and the Quintets in). The older version had the three tubes farther apart, but the resin epoxy base, hollow tubes, and spike feet are the same. We use a slightly shorter version for the center 650 so it fits under the screen. http://www.sanus.com/us/en/products/ProductDetails/line/speakerFoundations/pcat/ultimate/modelCode/UF26/layout/layout/
