Cooler Posted August 6, 2007 Share Posted August 6, 2007 I am DeeJaying a party and would like to use the iFi system with my Ipod and also have a microphone to make announcements etc. Plugging a cheap Sony mic in the Line In on the base dock produces very low volume even when the volume control is all the way up. spyderracer393 Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 couldn't use a volume attenuator to adjust the output? obviosuly, the best thing you could do is buy a real mic with phantom power and a nice preamp.
