newfer
I would like very much to use the RC 64 with a RB 81. I have to use a rb 81 because I have a shelf where the plasma tv is. (Both the rb 81 and rc 64 fit perfectly into the shelf) I cannot use any floorstanding speakers due to acceptance by wife problems. The room is 7meters by 5.5meters. I feel the rc 62 would be too small. Would it be too much of a mis match? would the sound be too different between the main and the center speakers? RC 62 just looks tooo small! HELP! masterxela
I don't think anyone is going to advise against the 64. If you want it, buy it! It is a serious speaker, have fun.
Guest BobG
The RC-64 will NOT be a good match to the RB-81. The RC-62 is the proper center speaker to use. Close your eyes for the purposes of evealuating sound. If you do a level match using pink noise with the speakers, you want to match tonality as well as output. RC-62 is what you need.
