Big Bean
Does anybody know how old my Harmon Kardon A-500 integrated is. Late fifties? Sixties? Please check out my image. Thanks. BB
catfish1966
Are the output tubes 7591's? Don't think it's from the 50's. PL
Big Bean
The output tubes are 7355s. Not too common. BB
Big Bean
Hi mdeneen, Thank you for the carbon dating results. The amp takes about twenty minutes to warm up well, then it's dead quiet. I really like the phase switch, it makes a big difference on some recordings. I run the VCR, FM, CD,and phono through it so it's really getting a workout. The transformers are nice and big for an amp this size, maybe that's why it sounds so good. My Conrad Johnson and McCormak are sitting on the shelf. I'm just having too much fun with these old tubes. The sound is wonderful and I am no push over. Thanks again, BB This message has been edited by Big Bean on 01-07-2002 at 09:30 PM
