Bert_d
Hi, The RT12d has a USB connection. On the following page I read that you can hook your sub to the PC to do the setup.http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_13_4/klipsch-rt-12d-subwoofer-december-2006-part-1.html withch type and where can I get the software to make this work? Quote: "Proprietary Klipsch software is required for your PC in order to use this capability " What are the possibilities with this USB port. Thanks Bert
michael hurd
I would send Klipsch tech support an email for a timely response. You should find links on the main page to send an email to them.
DrWho
It's my understanding that Klipsch only distributes the calibration software to the dealers...probably because they didn't want to deal with all the tech support issues of a broader customer user base. I think your best bet would be asking your dealer to borrow their installation CD. I've seen the setup configuration thing in action...it's pretty cool. Jay L
The main reason is for updating firmware, and to see the changes the ARC created in a graphical manner. It is not necessary to use the usb function for the best performance, if you have ran the room calibration then you are already there.
