shaneben
Just got the Pro Media speakers for X-Mas and love them although I've noticed the right speaker (control pod) is not quite as loud as the left speaker. The left speaker is in fact farther from my ears so if anything it should not be as loud but it is noticably louder than the right speaker at all volume settings. I turn the volume all the way down and then slowly bring it up and the left speaker will kick on. Lets say the volume knob is a clock face the and 7 is no volume well the left speaker kicks in at 8 but the right doesn't come on until about 9. And of course at loud volumes its hard to tell but low volumes you can really tell. I've even test both ears . I've checked all cable connections and nothing seems to be wrong. -Shane
Dan F
You are seeing a slight volume control mismatch. For some users, adjusting the volume up higher (and reducing the software volume) clears it up. If that doesn't clear it up, ring Amy in tech support. promediatech@klipsch.com ------------------ Klipsch ProMedia Customer Service # is 1-888-554-5665
shaneben
Yeah I think that may have done it. I had to turn it down alot (software) but it did fix it. Thanks for the quick reply. -Shane
pankaker67
I have the same problem with my v2-400's . I have to turn the volume up to 9 o'clock and turn down the s/w. Does anyone know if the new preamp fixes this problem?
shaneben
I've been thinking about buying the preamp anyway I wonder if it will fix the problem. -Shane
