Canis Lupus
Okay, I already own the Promedia v2.400 speakers since September 1999, and I want to upgrade to the new Promedia 4.1's ... I know it's just $50 to buy that preamp, but therein is my problem... It seems the preamp controls on one of the satellites is soldered in (lol) coz try as I might I can't remove the freakin' thing off the sats. My screwdriver is crying for mercy everytime I try. So would it be possible to buy the preamp WITH the satellite? Would it still be $50? Thanks in advance to any reply... ------------------ Canis Lupus Webmaster/Founder Open Tech Support http://www.opentechsupport.net
Jake Da Snake
To remove your preamp from the sat, first remove the wires from the hole between the legs of the sat stand one by one. After that just tug at it some more. Don't worry about messing it up if you already have a new preamp.
friend
man, you've been trying pretty hard. you don't need no screwdriver to take the preamp out. it just slides out if you push it backward!!!
