JBryan Posted March 21, 2008 Share Posted March 21, 2008 Its been a good winter for jazz in the area so its no real surprise that spring is looking to have more good shows in store. I mention this particular show because it may not show up on most folks' radar. Morgan St. in B'more is hosting a WEAA (88.9) Anniversary Benefit concert with Roy Ayers and Dr. Lonnie Smith on Friday, April 18th. Tickets are a hefty $75 but the proceeds help fund one of the best jazz radio stations in the area - and the show should be good too. If you can't make the show, there are still tickets available for the 'Superstars of Jazz Fusion' playing 2 shows at the Ram's Head Tavern in Annapolis on April 14th.
