javelin
I'm about to purchase a used RW10 for $200. Can someone please tell me if this sub is worth the price. I haven't seen the sub yet but according to the seller, it's RW10. Thanks! jav
GarminGeek
That's a good price. I just bought a "new old stock" RW10 for double that. The RW10 is virtually identical to the RW10d except the RW10d has a digital control panel on the top; wheras, the RW10 has dials on the back for Crossover and Phase; and a nice side-embedded dial for output level. (I personally prefer the side dial over the top panel). The size and shape of the two subs are identical. The specs are close enough to each other. I believe that the digital panel is probably the only difference. Side by side, the RW10d looked like the cone was a deeper copper colour (if that matters). Double check that it is in fact the RW10 and not the RPW10 (the entry level version). If it has a copper colour cone and a side level control then its the RW10. And for $200, I'd say you found a good deal.
