justrelaxing
Ok, I cant afford to go out and buy the system all at once. So looking to see what I should buy first to help out the sound the best. I have a older Denon Receiver which has dolby digital. I plan on getting the Denon AV-4200 or so. I have Klipsch Tangent 50 floor speakers. and the Klipsch center speaker but nt sure what one. I want to buy the K-12 subwoofer. My question is, would it help for me to get the subwoofer first or if i am upgrading hoping in a year or so with my reciver. Does a equalizer help out with bass? Or do most of the newer receiver have enough to where a equalizer is not worth the money anymore. Any help would be great.
boa12
just, i'd get a sub 1st since u already have a capable denon for music & ht. u might want to research this forum for other sub ideas. as for eq, imo u have enough of that in your denon already i believe. that's just me, as i hardly use any eq except re-eq w/ thx & a notch filter. but those are minute difs in the overall sound quality. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
