TommyK Posted June 13, 2008 Share Posted June 13, 2008 Broke down and bought an iPod. My problem is I cant find an easy way to transfer my music files to iTunes. Currently I have a couple tb of .flac .shn and .wav files in folders organized by artist > album > song. I'd like to pick 4 dozen albums, reduce to mp3s and have them in my iTunes playlist. When I import a folder (or file) using the iTunes app, I lose all the file info (meta data - album, artist, name). My work around now consists of converting to mp3s, use piccard (music brainz) to link meta data (when it exists in freedb), and then import. 3 applications and lots of time.
