QUiKSR20 Posted January 28, 2002 Share Posted January 28, 2002 I dont have a 845 but i do have an STR-DE975 so I will try to help you based on how i would fix that problem on my 975 im sure there simular to reset turn off the reciever, then turn it on and hold the button in for 20 seconds or until it turns back off now its reset. Also i dunno about it on your 845 but on my 975 theres a dimmer switch to the left check that out if i set it to 0% it will come on if i use a button like volume or so then will turn off the display after 5 seconds of no activity your dimmer may just be dimmed to the off position.
