  1. Nad is not that good, today i have a demo in The Audio People, Chennai. Nad doesn't sounds amazing. musical fidelity M3i seems to be good. I am getting a demo at my house soon. . Also the shop owner adviced me to hook Cambridge Azur 851W as a Power Amp with PM 8005 (as a Pre). need to see the demo, will update you my feedback
  2. Mid is not that good like Marantz PM 8005. So i am looking like mixture of PM 8005 and A-9070. I am expecting anyone in my list of amp will have all frequency presentation good.
  3. I don't own RF82s, but this amp sounds delicious with Forte IIIs Thanks... but I don't get this in India.
  4. I am into Klipsch family from 2012... owning RF 82, RC2, RS 42, SW 112 and R-112SW connected with Marantz AV7701/MM7055 and front channels connect to Marantz PM 8005. This is my setup for playing both Music and Movies. Regarding Two channel: I was in the impression that, sound of Marantz PM 8005 and RF 82 are perfect and getting the maximum output of the speakers... until I connected my friend's amp (Onkyo A-9070). I have seen outstanding performance of RF 82 with A-9070. Massive Bass and beautiful sound (Mid is Ok). Now only I realized that I was using poor Marantz PM 8005 with Great RF 82. Eventually I am spoiling the amazing output of RF 82. Thank God, at least now I got to know the RF 82 performance. Now decided to go for good Integrated Amp to hook my RF 82. Below amp I have chosen for RF 82. I am going to buy based on your advice only. I can't see demo of any below products (Since nothing is available in the showroom for demo in Chennai, India). The dealer says they can get me if i pay full amount (waiting period 30 days to 45 days) I am ready for this. I have chosen these amps based on the spec. I have no idea how they will match with RF 82. I hope your advice will make my upgrade perfect. 5. Hi All, I decided to go for Power Amp. I am planning to keep my existing system Denon 3312 as a pre amp and adding new Marantz MM-7055 Power Amp. Due to budget issue, I won't be able go for new per amp in Marantz. Any suggestion on this setup (Denon 3312 as a per amp + Marantz MM-7055 as a power amp)? Thanks, Pravin
  6. Hi All, Thanks for your response!! Really speaking, all your suggest didn't worked for me.... I did the same as per the all your suggest. I feel my choice RF-82 + Denon 3312 it really bad combination for 2.0 channels. Today I asked my friend to provide his 2.0 stereo amp (Pioneer A-229) to test the bass on my RF-82. Wow Wow!! I so impressed... what a BASS... I really felt very proud to have a Klipsch speakers.... After 2 years today only I saw the real effect of RF-82. - Pravin
  7. he states he sets the sub to LFE plus main. I find myself with audussey that it's perfect for movies. With music I bump the sub up 6db IF I use the sub. Lots of times I change audussey off and then sub to no and mains switch automatically to full band. I saw that, but he stated also that he is having trouble in stereo 2.0, which tells me he has disabled the sub during stereo listening. Kinda contradictory... Yes I disabled the sub, so all sound goes into Front RandL, but still no impact of low bass...
  8. heck yeah!! 48" woofers would make a TON OF BASS!Your denon should be just fine. Something isn't setup right. I run all my speakers on small. And the for music I like to go into Manila setup change sub to no and mains automatically to full band. Then I prefer audyssey off for music And youth you can set speakers to large and still select a crossover. It's if you hit no sub they switch to full band. Hi, My Room Size is 11 feet * 17.5 feet. You can see the my profile picture, show RF82 and sub.
  9. Dear Team, I own Klipsch RF-82+RC-62+RS-42+SW-112. Amp : Denon AVR 3312 For 6 Channel I configured - Cross Over 80Hz and Bass LFE+MAIN < 80Hz and all speakers are set to LARGE For 2 Channel I configured - no SUB, only Stereo and no surround It is fantastic system while watching movie, Good BASS from Sub only. But while listening music in 2 channel (2.0 – No Sub and Surround) I feel like listening in 50$ unknown product front speakers. I know the issue is not with speakers, my friends said the issue could be with Amp because it is not designed for 2 channel play (stereo). The Denon spec says 125 Watts @ 8 ohms 20Hz to 20KHz for 2 channels. Based on the spec I feel it should be play good sound with good BASS in 2 channel mode on RF-82. Any idea, why I am not getting good BASS in RF-82 while playing in Stereo Mode without SUB. Please advise whether I need to go with different Amp? Or I need to buy integrated stereo amp and connect both AVR and Integrate with these speakers? If yes how to do? Or Simply move to Higher grade AVR like Denon 4530 or above Or Bi-amp Denon AVR 3312 for front speakers. Or any other advice? Thanks, Pravin Ebenezer
  10. Hi, I have Denon AVR 3312 and Klipsch speakers. Both Amp and speakers are capable of 8 Ohms. But i am not sure how to check whether music/movie are playing in 8 Ohms. Please advise how to check. Regards, Pravin
  11. KLF 20's is outdated u will not get the product from shop.... RF-7 II is better than KLF 20's in the market now.... BTW: both are very expensive...
  12. Hi, I just purchased RC-62 II ... it is Amazing...... Yes I agree Center is Required for Good Voice Clarity and Voice Volume Control Thanks....
  13. I agree with 70% of sound in Center. But the magic is when i set the "Center = None/No", the receiver routed center channel sound as MONO to Front A and B. So i am not missing any Center sound... I am from India.
  14. Thanks... I don't have center... I am happy with front which also delivers center sound also. [] basically i mentioned Center = None I don't understand how u made RS-42 at 100 on the crossover... is there any conf in the recevier?
  15. Hi All, I need your advice to connect Klipsch SW-112 with Denon 3312. Let me explain my current sound system configuration. Klipsch RF-82 (Floor standing) Klipsch RS-42 (Surround) Denon 3312 (AV Receiver) I am happy with above configuration, but still I am missing very low frequency (BASS). So I decided to go for Subwoofer. Today I ordered Klipsch SW-112 Subwoofer, it will reach my home in few days. I am very curious to know the recommended settings in Receiver and Subwoofer. So far in Receiver Sub is OFF, so I am getting the low frequency in RF-82 (Front). I will make ON after connecting the SW-112, but not sure what settings have to configure in receiver. 1. Shall I configure less than 100 Hz in the receiver for Sub Out? 2. Shall I configure LOWPASS Control to 100Hz in Subwoofer ? Pls advise me the best? Best Regards, Pravin Ebenezer
