It's to the point to forget having a picture of a beast living under a bridge in the old country next to the definition of troll in the dictionary.

This rich dude just enjoys the trolling as much as he does p*ssing others off!

Nah, he's just got a good sense humor and is smart enough, and rich enough, to not to give a damn about what others think.

Beside, the type of people he's pissing off at Twitter are not what anyone would call fair and balanced. Go Elon!!!

I am wondering if it's time to consider buying a new desktop tower?

it's been SEVERAL years, if not a decade or more, is it time to upgrade my CPU and operating system... the computers runs perfectly right now.

1.8TB standard HD about 20% capacity.

and if so, what are the recommendations for replacement... Current is HP and I think I want to move to a super wide (41") monitor.

IMO, the best retail PC's can be purchased from "Maingear".

I have 3,....   purchased a laptop and desktop for my college bound daughter. I have one of their workstations. Their PC's are durable, reliable and solid performing. Fast, fast,.... fast gaming PCs that don't necessarily have to be used for gaming, but it is the Gaming World drives the market.  If you get a Maingear, you'll not regret it.

Have seen reports of 158mph which makes it a Cat 5 storm ... and the strongest to ever hit Florida's Gulf Coast :(

Can't remember the name of the hurricane but in the early 90's there was one that ripped Homestead, FL apart; thought it was a Cat 4 or maybe 5. I kept hearing DeSantis saying there's never been a Cat 5 there, and thought he was mistaken.

Looking for recommendations for a reproduction model of an Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. My budget would be up to $1500. Thanks!

My all time favorite of favorite lounge chairs.... the one all others are measured agains.  Hard to come across that particular Eames lounge chair at a reasonable price; even a beat-up fixxer upper is hard to come by at that price.

I suspect this one is a cheap Chinese knock-off.....   https://www.ebay.com/itm/354287421652?hash=item527d2d08d4:g:~wsAAOSw66tjJ9Zu&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4D%2FXUrzVNup0ZltD2cL0X3OgxLZ4ABJKDYAP9ciJDj%2Bwj4sd5G9alZMc3LOuw57vOpuu9KxysUbyyicEKHB%2BoqESSbXV1LQM0sqnOeHxIPHEhW5T8JZ1tVoRReZ9iOLQxal4O2likqOEj6tOoN8Mlzo4Xtn34ZVCGYQxZ2a1LOlygSPUbWLBeo1%2FjuknihZG2f2gh07Z5B6s5SKLq9MtHsXkbxSCHfMxE57IwKqc3LDEbR%2BUUiCez7paboRegqN4cLN8Hz9oApGQLN4O0A%2Be1l4FAieU3suId2WgIsA2wN5D|tkp%3ABk9SR_C9o9jwYA

Might also consider one of the Stressless lounge chairs with a matching ottoman... I bought a couple of stressless Magic chairs and love them. Especially the wife, she'll get a good book and kick back in the stressless for the rest of the day.

  5. Forgot about the 1966 movie "Grand Prix". They did it right and captured the aura of the sport, which started to take another course sometime around the mid 90's.

As someone else stated, there are too many to choose from, but if you can break it up along style lines, it makes it somewhat easier to choose.

And yet here you are, trolling, contributing nothing.  Your puzzling hidden link to some odd youtube video was a waste of my time.

Thank you for proving my point...... and glad you enjoyed the youtube.  I'll try to post some more because I know how much you value your time.

The lectins in animal feed are only partially broken down by animals, some remains in their meat, at least he claims. And by testing not just saying it is so.

Sure, most livestock is fed soy

I assume the "Livestock" you're referring to is poultry.  Never known anyone to successfully raise Sheep or Cattle on store bought feed; even during the worst of times.

Here in south texas, when mother nature throws you a bad year or two or three, we burn nopal or prickly pear. It's not economically feasible to supplement the diet of your cattle with store bought feed.

I think this list was voted up by random people in each state so it probably isn't very scientific!

Random people eh?  As long as the sample size was strong, it sounds like a reasonable approach to me. It may not be scientific in the sense that the WOKE generation hasn't approved of it, but it's good enough for mortal men.

We had to have repairs done to our sewer pipes under the basement floor in the laundry area.  The cement patch over the repair lacks the smooth finish of the original floor.  Amazon has a plethora of “indoor concrete sealers” with many favorable reviews.

Any first hand experience with such a product?  Sealing the porous patch is the primary goal.  Cosmetics in that section of the basement are secondary to sealing the area to prevent constant shedding of dust and grit.

Recommendations of products to use, or products to avoid, is much appreciated.

    Neil,

Are you interested in localized repair (small area) or are you considering covering the entire basement floor?

Contact tech. department at "Master Builders" https://www.master-builders-solutions.com/en-us ......   Explain to them what you have and what you want to accomplish, and they'll take it from there. This is the exact same process that Architects and Engineers do when working with unfamiliar challenges.

Once upon a time there were Sonneborn (Big Orange Catalog) or Chemrex (Big Yellow) catalogs. They made everything Concrete and Masonry Related, but those products were all bought out by Master Builders.

  10. Now and again it happens; I befriend someone that's a bit younger and with whom I share a common interest. That interest is usually work related, but whatever it is, we'll inevitably discuss music. Music is the one enjoyable constant in my life that's existed from a very young age.  And as much as I enjoy listening to different types of music, it will inevitably happens......  Bang!!!!  someone introduces me to something new to me, but has been around for over a decade or two or three. It's been more than a decade since I've experienced one of these "music awakening", and this time it stung a bit harder than in the past. It stung because I'd been enjoying music from the sister bands that were born from the mother, a mother I was never exposed to because the artists' life was cut short.

So without further ado, what's new to me may be old to you.....    Enjoy;  Stargazer, by "Mother Love Bone". RIP Andrew Wood.

    What's new to you??

Does the bridge connect with the waterfront property?  I'm looking for privacy.  A draw bridge and a moat is what I'm really looking for.  Crocks, gators and pirana would be a plus.   :)

Please read the post sir..... I said "Future Waterfront Property".... The bridge is a seperate deal.

PM me for details, or just send $1,250,000 via PayPal F&F.  You can trust me, I've been a member on the Klipsch forum for quite some time.

I believe I still have a Cutco paring knife that my mother had. The tip is broken... I should send it in to them It is at least 55 years old. I sure don't have paperwork on it, but that probably wouldn't matter.

Their good people. Never a complaint. They stand by their products.

Being 55yrs, just about qualifies as entry level heirloom, and me being an old sentimental fool, I'd likely wanna keep it.

  13. Been there, done that.....   Once upon a time my father owned a restaurant supply business. I have Swiss, German, Japanese, all kinds of knives for all kinds of purposes....  from tactical to  culinary.

Stop the madness, Cutco has you covered in the kitchen and the BBQ.....  even fishing too.  Excellent knives, and they'll sharpen for you when it gets to that point, which will likely be alot longer than you think.
