  1. You can get a refurbished 3803 for $645+ shipping at Ecost. I purchased mine from them and haven't had any problems.
  2. According to Sound City's website they only sell the Klipsch's in thier retail store. I live in Renton which is about 10 miles south of Seattle. Good Guys wants $2200 for a pair of RF-7s while I have seen them for $1500 on the web.I doubt I can talk them down that much.
  3. Im looking into purchasing a pair of RF-7s as well. I havent purchased from Absolute Audio Video but in my research I have found them cheaper at Legacy Audio, Authorized Electronics, Brand Namez, and Reliable Audio. If you do go with Absolute please give us an update on your experience purchasing from them.
  4. Does anyone know of any online vendors authrorized to sell Klipsch products? The only dealer in my area (Washington)is Good Guys and they charge an arm and a leg. Thanks
  5. Well.... I think I will be going with the RF-7s. I found a great price at Legacy Audio Video. Has anyone purchased from them or have any recommendations on a good place to buy some RF-7s? Thank you.
  6. Thats a great question! Im thinking about getting a projector and screen setup and I was wondering the exact same thing if the sound would just bounce of the screen and be distorted. What projector do you have, and are you happy with it?
  7. So my wife and I are getting ourselves an early Christmas present. We are will be purchasing a new HT setup a projector and screen. I thought I was set on purchasing the RF-35,RS-35,and RC-35 setup but before I do I was hoping I could get some opinions on whether or not I should fork out twice as much money for the RF-7s or R-5s. I dont know if my wallet can handle the RF-7s price tag but if the RF-5s are much better then the RF-35s I would be tempted to shell out the extra money. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
  8. I was hoping I could get some thoughts on my furture HT. Im looking into purchasing a projector and a screen (possibly Da-Lite)for my home theatre. I will probably go with the Infocus which I plan on hooking up to my Denon DVM-1805 and my Xbox. Does anyone have any opinions on the Infocus or have any recommendations on another projector. I plan on replacing my TV and entirely using the projector. Let me know if you guys having any advice. Thanks
  9. Thanks for the responses, I think I will check out the SVS subs. I may go to a different store for a demo of the Velodyne as IM wondering if the salesman tuned the Velodyne to sound bad on purpose, it seemed he was really pushing the RSW12.
  10. I just purchased a Denon 3803 receiver and im probably going to end up purchasing RF35,RC35, and RS35 speakers. IM not sure which sub to go with. I will mostly be using the system for movies. I have heard alot of good things about Velodyne's but when I listened to the SPL10 and the CHT-12 at Good Guys and Circut City they didn't perform like I had hoped. Does anyone have any opinoins on the RSW-12 or have any recommendation on another sub as IM leaning towards purchasing the RSW-12.
