I picked it up on vinyl yesterday and have only had a chance to listen to the first lp, but so far I like what I've heard.

I'm glad to see Metallica's new album is being released on vinyl. I sure hope it's better than St. Anger.

Just got back from seeing The Dark Knight with my wife and son. Excellent movie, Heath Ledgers performance was as good as it gets. I did think that Bales growling voice as Batman was a little over the top. How anyone that saw this movie thought Ledger portrayed the Joker as a little feminine or like a drag queen amazes me.

I had one go out on one of my RF-7s, there was no sound coming out of it at all.
Remove the jumpers off the binding posts and plug the speaker wires into the HF pair of posts and see what you get.

Thanks, figured it had to be an Import..........It's like the Blind Faith cover, A USA cover, then the real IMPORT cover....
I've got the same cover on a U.K. copy of Electric Ladyland. I have an early U.S copy of Blind Faith with the nude cover before they banned it here. The girl on that cover looks old compared to the girl on a Ger. copy of Scorpion's, Virgin Killer I have.

I think it got to about 50 today. The back yard is finally free of snow, so I had the great fun of picking up a winters worth of dog poop.

I've been using a 1500A amp with my Forte's for a couple years, and I think they match up nice. I also use a Parasound Halo A 21 on my RF7s in my surround setup with an HCA 2205A driving the other 5 speakers. I would have to agree with the last poster about the deep bass and how smooth they sound.

I recorded it on one of our HD PVR's tonight, but my wife and I won't get a chance to sit down together and watch it till tomorrow. We really enjoyed it last year and have been looking forward to it. HBO does have the best series on TV, I just wish they had more of them.

I liked their 1st lp and Rock and Roll Outlaws the best. The first time I saw them it was their first tour and they were backing up Johnny Winter at Cobo Hall In Detroit. Great concert.

I've bought all of mine on line from Circuit City, or Elusive Disc.
-
It would have to be something from HBO or Showtime, such as Weeds, Brotherhood, Deadwood, The Wire or Real Time with Bill Maher.

I've seen some really bad movies through the years, but I'm going to go with current stinkers.
I thought Elf might be the worst movie I ever saw until I saw Narnia. What a load of crap that was. I don't think I've ever seen children in a movie that I disliked as much as the 4 kids in that movie.

Yessongs is a good live album.
I have eleven Yes lps and to me the best ones are The Yes Album, Fragile, and Close To The Edge. I've never heard Yes on CDs so I can't comment on how good they would sound, but on vinyl those three albums sound great.
If you have a good surround setup and a DVD player that plays DVD-A, check out a DVD-A copy of Fragile, It sounds fantastic.

I liked it too. I do have to admit that I didn't really understand what to make of it while I was watching it, but after seeing how it ended I would like to see it again sometime. I think it would make a lot more sense to me the 2nd time around.

I'll be at Best Buy later today so I'll pick up a copy. I would be a lot more enthused about it if it wasn't for that 4:3 video format. God, what were they thinking? I can't remember the last time I've even seen a TV show that wasn't widescreen.

I thought the first half of the movie was pretty good, I didn't care too much for the second half.
It was worth a one time rental to me though.

Tony Iommi
The James Gang era Joe Walsh

Roxanne. That song's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

Excellent movie, one of the best that I've seen in a while.

I liked it. I do have to admit there were times I was a little lost. Can't really say too much about the movie without being a spoiler. I want to rent it again now that I know the ending to see how everything ties together. There was a lot of information in the background of scenes, such as photos and such.
What was up with the 3 of everything?

There's too many to list, but probably my two all time favorites would be.
Sabbath - War Pigs
Iron Maiden - 22, Acacia Avenue

I thought the 1st half of the movie was pretty good. I didn't care as much for the 2nd half. Still it was worth a one time rent to me.
