  1. Yes it's a very good way to use two subs. The only setting you may have to adjust is the

    phase setting on one of the subs. set one to 0 and adjust the other until it produces the

    most base. The phase control helps the two subs for cancelling out their sound waves.

  2. ED televison can display at 480p resolution. HD Television can display

    up to 720p/1080i resolution. Basically it's the differnce between

    watching a DVD in progressive mode on a HD display or watching

    true High Definition. There is a huge difference.

  3. No I don't think you do. I mean you need to have DirecTV service,

    but not say HD service or TIVO service for you to watch

    total choice programming. Now as you expect to use/get HD and TIVO

    programming/use you need to subscribe to those additional services.

    I would get the HD box and at least use it to decode the off-air HD

    signal and get regular sat. signal.
