Any chance they are selling any synergy series speakers, more specifically, the SF-1? I picked one up at a Good Guys in Sacramento for $99 and now I'm looking for its reasonably priced brother.

My local Good Guys was doing their annual clearance sale on open box or discontinued items. I happened to come across an SF-1, brand new in a sealed box which was on clearance because they no longer carry Klipsch. So I bought it for the unbelievable price of $99 bucks. Some deal eh? I would have to say I'm really "moving on up" when it comes to my HT fronts, as I was using some crummy KLH speakers that I picked up at Costco. Now, my question to everyone out there is... Anyone know of a good place to buy another single SF-1? Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

All signs point to yes when it comes to 5.1 sound. However, regardless of which game you like best, sound matters little if you don't have the proper graphics card to run the game -which I hope you all do!

Half-life 2, without a doubt. All I continue to hear about Doom 3 are the graphics, what about the story?! Like HL, HL2 will undoubtedly have a killer storyline and killer graphics. One need only look at the screen shots to understand. Better yet, watch some video, the colors and lighting in this game is breathtaking and the idea of picking up right after the end of the first game is great. I'm not putting Doom 3 down (it too looks amazing); I just think HL2 is more of a complete package. I mean, at least HL2 has a release date instead of when its done.
