Coytee, Here is the solution. A pair of custom earplugs for each of you. A pair for her when your crankin' the Jubes[8][8][8] and a pair for you when you aren't.[]

He's pretty convinced that he's my long lost, but much older, brother. I'm glad he's ok - at least he won't be hitting me up or a kidney or bone marrow or something.
Strange, I didn't think OB had wool.

I'm no expert but I believe many of the small signal noval base tubes pins were heated to weld the elements to the pins thus the color case hardened appearance. Large pin tubes used lower temrerature solder to attach the electrodes. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Great observations.
I have Belles directly in front of my Khorns, there are comparisons but they are not comparable. The Khorn is sooo much fuller.

It's a good price if they are in reasonable, used condition.

"I triple love that Dennis Had, of Cary Audio (who heard Sam's La Scala IIs) hit the nail on the head: 'These speakers are fun to listen to."
Not only that but " When Dennis Had heard this combo (LSII and Cary 845 SET) at my place, he decided he had to have his own pair of Klipsch LaScala IIs."
When a man who favors the likes of Triangle and Focal that cost many times the price and a man who designs and builds top quality audio gear are so impressed by Klipsch as to buy them, it is a great review!
Imagine if they had listened to Klipschorns!!!
Congradulations Klipsch and thank you.

. It is difficult if not impossible to get the musical properties of a tube amp in SS within our meager budgets
try a ...Crown D-45/75 series 2
or ... a K-1 .../2
or ..
ifn' ya want to spend $$$
Crown Studio Reference ........[]
I have to admit Duke the only Crown I've ever auditioned was the DC-150. At that time my Marantz was better. I know Leo likes his. Maybe I'll look for one for a "summer" amp next year.
