  1. My 1975 Heresys have a type D crossover. Should I hook mine up like your attachment? Other than the change in hookup, is there any difference between a type D and type E? MAK
  2. Every now and then if I'm working in the office I will stack a few LP's on my changer...it's really very convenient and seems to have very little effect on my vinyl.....I've been doing it forever...but I'm not really all that fussy. This is especially convenient for box sets and multidisk albums. I think the whole changer damage to vinyl thing is somewhat of an urban myth....as long as your vinyl is clean to begin with.
  3. I suddenly became the unexpectant owner of a pair of original Heresy's when I bought them at an antique shop this week for $50. This is my first Klipsch experience so please bear with me. I have been looking at these for the past year on Ebay- all the ones I see generally have Black grilles with the Klipsch logo spelled over above the tweeter. The pair I bought have a goldish tweed grille cloth with the old Klipsch "pie slice" emblem on mirror image corners. My pair seems to date from 1975 (serial #'s 14N159 and 14N160)...so when did Klipsch phase out these pie slice logos and switch to the more modern look? Are my grilles original to these speakers? Lucky for me, all the drivers work and appear to be stock. The crossover (type D) has 2 unmarked chocolate caps- are these original? Should they be updated? Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
