  2. hey DZ> you may want to look at Onkyo txsr-702 the Onkyo has a real nice sound with the Klipsch series ref. speakers. I used to run the onkyo before I went seperates and I thought it sounded the best compared to Denon, and Harmon K. and the like. The Onkyo gives you a nice warm feeling and the formats are up to date. If your dealer will let you do a in home trial I suggest that you give it a try. Onkyo uses the wide wrat amplifer design, and gives you clean sound and the crossover points are @ 80hz. let us know how you make out.9.gif

  3. any advise would be welcomed, heres the scoop, when im powering down my B&K amps they power down very slow, and in doing so creates a soft "pop" . everything is wired correctly, and im even using a line conditioner, but still have this "pop". its not over-bearing or anything i was just wondering if there was a trick to not have it go thru this "pop" thing, i wouldnt want to damage my RF7's. any advise?? thanks for the look.....

  4. ok heres the scoop, ive been told that even with a good home theater reciever your not getting clean power to all those 6 speakers(6.1 set up) that if you listen to 2 channel stereo as well it would be a good idea to run a 2 channel amp to the front speakers? is that true?? or is this guy trying to sell me an amp? if hes telling me the truth whats a good in-expensive 2 channel amp?

  5. ok due to budget constraints, i was going to replace the RS7 surrounds with the RB75s because i wanted the whole package in sound,ie: highs mids and alittle more bass. but...those darn RB75s are pricey!! my question is this, would i be ok to go with the RB35s, and accomplish what im looking for in a surround speaker like a fuller sound? (if MOON is around id like to get his feedback on this as well). thanks guys hope you can educate me.

  6. thank you all for your opinions, i think id have to go with the rb75s, soon! also in reading thru the posts i see that the rb75s would be a great match with the RF7s. thanks again. RIC.

  7. well its been a educational ride with all the great posts on updates and mods, im referring to an update for a suitable power source for the REF> series 7 set up,all the wonderful suggestions on amps, from denon to yamaha, harmon kardon, pioneer, b&k, etc.....what does KLIPSCH recommend as a power source to run this series? maybe a mod. would like to take a shot at this question. thanks for the ear and have fun.1.gif
